About

The Bella Vista Futbol Club was founded in 2003 by Walter Iacone and Frank Russo. Bella Vista FC is a social soccer league in South Philly featuring a yearly fall tournament, and 8 vs. 8, small goal pick-up games throughout the year.

    hello bvfc:

    My name is Dennis Smyth, I have been running a few men’s teams in the Philadelphia area social leagues and have been told by a few random people to check out Bella Vista.

    I have been very impressed with everything I have read and heard. My goal in contacting you was to first introduce myself and inquire about a spring league and putting a team in, but secondly to offer my services as a young coach. I currently coach the Friends Select boys varsity team (17th and Race) as well as coach a U-11 boys Roxborough Indians team. I am looking to relocate to the Queen Village area in the late spring early summer, and I would love to volunteer my time and patience and further develop youth soccer in the city I love. I have my USSF youth soccer license and I am currently finishing up my D license. I would love to learn more about your club and I would really love to put a team in your league(s).
